Teaberry Stalker Two 40 channel question

I’m new here and have a Teaberry Stalker Two 40 channel that I know needs a recap and most likely an alignment. I can’t find any info (service manuals schematics, etc.) on it. Can anyone here point me in the direction of where I can find the info?

Stryker SR-447HPC2 Knowledge

I'm not familiar with the Stryker flavors and after getting this little loud fella I've got a few questions. The dk on low is about 2.5 watts with high being almost 13 watts. I'm ignorant to this chassis but I'm thinking that's a little hot for high. This is a 520 version. If it were a ranger chassis I could get the service manual/schematic etc. but aside from a bunch of opinions in google searches I can find nothing. I naturally want to turn it down to about 10 on higher but without a...

Tram D-201 Repair Question

In my search for a Golden Eagle Mark III, I came across a beautiful Tram D-201 within driving distance for only $225. It is in absolutely pristine condition inside and out. The mic is a D-104.

The owner says it was working perfectly when he put in in a closet five years ago, but it now has a loud hum.
What I want to know is:

1. Probably Cause
2. Estimated Repair Cost
3. $225 sounds like a great price. Is it?

Here's a question I have searched for but have found no real answer and not sure there is a real one. Can the police arrest you if you have illegal export radio and amplifier in your vehicle hooked up? I have asked some that I know well and they didn't really know and said they wouldn't be bothered with it unless something was going on illegally. LOL! Radio has been on the shelf for quite a while. I have been using it the last week but I have more of these and have to thin out. Radio works great but just do not need it. Will come with factory mic and power cord. $300.00

I have a HR2600 with chipswitch , 5010 with extra's, Uniden 2830 from Europe tweaked, Vintage Avanti Sigma 5/8 wave model AV-170 base antenna all original and still being used, silver eagle, icom 2300h brand new used 10 minutes, workman watt/swr meter, 50' coax very good condition. plus a few small things.

Cobra 29 Classic Low/Backward Modulation Problem Help Please

I have two Cobra 29 Classic's. One has low modulation only swings like 6 watts with the limiter clipped I have no idea what is going on with it. I have another one is barely showing modulation and what little it is showing it swings backwards. Can anyone help me with the problem with one or both please? I've tried everything I know of but nothing seems to change.

Galaxy DX88 low power

For the pros.Ive been working on an 88 that had a no power problem.replaced finals with original 2312,driver,and pre driver.adjusted bias to factory specs.radio now has 4w.swings to 12 and looks awesome on the scope.not trying to get crazy watts or swing but numbers are too low for dual final radio.voltages look good according to the charts I have except only .3v on base of TR43 and-0.0v on base of TR56.replaced C209 and C171 with no improvement.Where should I look next?TIA

Wife picked this up to carry when tracking with her dogs (deer tracking)..for exposure training, maybe snakes in the summer, and mostly as an all-season-legal dispatch weapon. Seemed to fit the bill...eating anything you feed it and not “too nice” to carry in snake and gator infested swamps.

Must admit, I’ve fallen in love with the little guy. Son has been carrying on the trap line for a couple weeks over break. It’s quickly becoming an everyday essential...like a wallet, keys and pocket...

Varmint XL-150 new to me tube amp...noob questions.

Just recently bought the Varmint amp from a gent that I made friends with on the CB radio. It has been modified by a local amp builder. It has one 6KV6 driving two 6N45C Russian tubes. The Russian tubes can be bought for reasonable prices, so I think that's why the amp was modded.

I looked at a tube database, and the preferred substitute for a 6KV6 is a 6JG6. What should I expect if I did use 6JG6 as a substitute for a 6KV6? Is it just plug and play or what?

If the need arises to...
